Buy these labels!
Even if you use other labeling devices - I use Fellowes Neato - these labels are a steal at this price. The best part about these labels vs. the ones I used before is that they can be used for "full" or "partial" coverage. They have two perforated circles in the middle so you can punch out the small hole or the larger "neato sized" hole. This is not available on the more expensive neato labels I traditionally bought. So far I've used about 100 of these labels with no problems at all, I'm very happy with these labels.

Excellent Product
I'm on my 4th package of 300 ct labels. Every label program I've used has a ready made template (Nero, CoverXP, etc.). The labels give the option of standard or full face labels ("big hole" or "little hole"). They have a matte flat finish as opposed to a slick, glossy finish. Consequently, they are better for text-intensive applications. Graphics do print beautifully. Those who intend to print photographic images best choose a glossy product.

what I expected
These labels print nicely and were exactly what I expected for the price. The software that comes with the package is good enough for printing labels, although they don't print exactly as you see them on the monitor (there will be white space on the label if you don't overlap it in the software. Other than that, this is a decent pack of matte labels and you can't beat the price.

Nice, basic disc labels for a GREAT PRICE !
I ran out of DVD labels one day and had to run to Office Max to finish my project. $28 for 40 labels (their brand) was the lowest price available. I needed them, so I bought them, came home and finished my project, then browsed Amazon to compare cost.$9 for 100 of these labels ??!! ($3 for labels + $6 for shipping) Are you kidding? They arrived quickly and look, feel and seem exactly the same as the ones from Office Max.My projects consist of burning DVDs and CDs for light, occasional use so the quality of these labels are just fine for me.I have read articles suggesting that paper labels do not hold up over time on DVDs because DVDs are subject to high heat while being played (CDs are okay). I have not encountered this problem, however I am not using the same DVDs over and over and over again.Whether or not to use a label at all is another complete discussion, but if you're looking to purchase labels, why pay more than necessary?

CHEAP PRICE BUT GREAT QUALITY
These labels were over $20 at my local office supply store. I can't believe how inexpensive they were and its the same exact quality. I fed them into multiple printers and they aligned properly and fed easily using the Avery template.Well worth the purchase.

Avery CD/DVD Labels
These labels work great in my HP inkjet printer. The finish is matte not glossy on the labels. No jams in the printer. The labeling instructions are a little different for these than other Avery labels I have used. After printing the label sheet you remove the label from the sheet with two of the side backing papers still intact. You then align the label on the CD/DVD while it is in a jewel case. Once aligned, it is pressed onto the disc in the middle and the two side backing papers can be removed. After you do one it becomes easier.Good labels and good price.

Disappointed with large hole
I have been using Avery DVD labels for our photography business and are pleased with the ease of use and quality of the labels. So when we ran out, I decided to pay more for the Avery brand.I could not find the exact item number of the labels we had been using so I ordered these. When I received them, I realized that these labels have a much larger middle hole than the other version, and I wish this was indicated somehow. It is not a major enough problem for me to return these, but it is an annoyance because it eats into the space I have for images. Also, these labels are made to line up with plastic jewel CD cases. The other version I used but now can no longer find, easily slip of the middle spine in a stack of DVDs, which makes for error-proof alignment.Would recommend for its Avery quality, but other buyers, do take note if the center hole is something of concern.*Oh, another thing: I'm not sure why such a requirement was set on this...

Avery CD Labels
These labels are very good and easy to apply. They are light and stay in place very well.At over $30 for a package of 100 labels (two on a page) they seem a bit overpriced but I was able to get a lower price thru Amazon.

Solves label curl
This is my favorite and I've tried them all. The outer post is higher than most and thus handles label curl quite well. I've used it to apply many hundreds of labels without incident.

Just works better.
I have used the free installer that came with a CD label Kit -- a round button that clips on the holder after you have put the disc being labeled on it, but the labels didn't always center. I decided to buy this one separately, and it really is better -- far easier to work with, and centers the labels perfectly every time (as long as you remember to put the label on first, upside down, and then press the disc face down on it). It's a small thing, but really is an improvement over the free ones.

Low cost, low tech, highly functional.
This product amounts to little more than a low-tech press, but the results are fantastic. I use it to apply glossy, hub-printable labels to dual layer disks since they're not readily available in the inkjet hub printable format off the shelf. The pin in that hold the disk in place is well molded and the perfect size, leaving no lateral play. The labels ALWAYS come out perfectly straight, never off-center. I use a the blank plastic "CD" that comes in spindle packs of CDs and DVDs to press any bubbles out, works great.I highly recommend this product even to those like myself who have CD/DVD printers. It comes in very handy for formats that aren't readily available with an inkjet printable surface. I apply the blank label first and then print the disk in my Canon ip4200 CD/DVD printer. The results are just as good as the prelableled inkjet printable disks, as long as you make sure to work out any bubbles first. This product is simple yet functional and an excellent value for...

A bunch of whinners ...........
The software is intuitive. If you don't like the supplied clipart ....... use your own. I've used the supplied software for over a year and prefer it over all others I've used. It allows use of any font. It allows scalable rounding of text. The complaint about graininess is caused by trying to enlarge an image too much. There are limits. I do multiple disc set sometimes and this software allows me to easily mark disc numbers. The labels themselves are opaque enough to hide most manufacturers pre-printed labels. If you are not happy with this product, you won't be happy with any other either.

Good value CD labels, okay software
1) The Memorex CD/DVD labels are pretty decent. It's white paper with two labels on each sheet, for a total of 60 sheets and 120 labels. You can also print two jewel case spine labels as well as two "general use" labels (just rectangular labels). I've checked out various brands including Staples' own store brand and Memorex CD/DVD label refill packs are the best value.2) The LabelMaker software is not bad at all, and works reliably and fast on Windows XP. I use it with my Canon Pixma iP3000 (the *best* inkjet printer for under $300!). The program comes with a calibration tool which you *MUST* run to ensure proper alignment. (Don't worry, it's just calibration for LabelMaker only, and won't mess up your printer's hardware calibration.) The program is pretty easy to use, esp. when it comes to importing and resizing your own image files.I recommend this pack as well as the 300-pack from Memorex.

Only used the labels... used 3rd party software
I used a third party software and it works great.Did not have to calibrate, even though they have the option.Just selected the paper type (Memorex Full Sheet) and it aligned perfectly.Graphics applied to label perfectly...just make sure you crop the image. The software is downloadable and I believe you have two weeks to try it out...not sure about the time, because I went ahead an purchased it for $20To be honest, I have not tried ANY other software...I bought this software before I knew that software came with about 20 sheets. So I can not compare software, only to say that the Acousta software does everything I wanted and then some.I suggest getting this for $20 (actually save the $20 and try it for free) and then 3 packs of 120 for around $30 (needed this amount to save on shipping) 360 sheets about 10 cents a sheethttp://www.acoustica.com/
