Lightweight, Probably not for Pros but Good Enough.
This was actually very lightweight. I have an expensive one from Yonex and they feel about the same as far as weight goes. I am not a pro AT ALL, but for the price and the name brand, you get a whole set. Great for beginners and anyone that just wants to play for fun every once in awhile. Top to learn more

Good rackets, but not the shuttlecocks and bag
I bought this because it came as combo. After used it for about two months, we have no problem with the rackets, and feel that the quality of the rackets is very good. The shuttlecocks don't last long (maybe 3-4 hours play). So we use "Yonex Mavis 300 Nylon Shuttlecocks" that can last much longer. The bag is made by cheap material and can not be used in cold weather because one side of the bag is plastic. I need to find other badminton bag (or whole badminton set with bag) that can be used in winter.If you just care about the rackets, this may be your choice. Top to learn more

Since this is a cheap item I didn't expect much. Its good for the price but you will need to re-tape the handles with electrical tape as the tape that's originally on them comes off.Thats the only flaw I found, cheaply wrapped handles.No big deal since its easy to re-wrap them.The set has held up for 3 months now with 2 young children beating it senseless, that's why I went cheap. :)The rackets are surviving fine, minus the need to re-tape them when the original tape starts to unravel.So anything that lives 3 months with my 2 roughnecks is good by me!If you looking for cheap but still durable as I was looking for, this set will be ok. Just remember to get some tape.This is a cheap set. Not a pro set. Its not balanced or perfectly straight.Its just a fun way to get some exercise for the family without going bankrupt. ;)

great racquet
I have been very happy with this racquet, which I got nearly a year ago. I bought it to replace a cheap starter racquet I bought the summer before, and what a difference! I used it several times a week last summer (not so much this summer yet as it's been too windy and rainy) and it's no worse for wear. The balance is great, and the weight is perfect. Those shuttlecocks pop right off the face of this racquet! I highly recommend it for the semi-serious, regular, but non-competitive player like me. Top to learn more

good quality set
My 10 yr child wanted to try badminton so I got a set from Target branded as sportscraft for eleven ninety-nine. It was soft and broke very fast. Then we bought a set of Yonex (the same set in the listing) and we are now much happier. This is heavier and much more solid, and with obviously better quality. We bought from the local SportsAuthority store for twenty-four ninety-nine before tax. BTW if you live in an area with a patch of flat ground and have a few days without any wind this is a wonderful sport for 10 to 99 year old! Top to learn more

Recreational rackets
These are not real YONEX rackets they do not have the logo etched into the triangle under the head of the racket( which is how you can differentiate a real from a fake). The strings however are very study but not what the professionals would use. Although these are sturdy rackets the price is a bit expensive seeing as they are a misrepresentation of a Yonex racket. Decent rackets for beginers
I bought these rackets from Genji Sports Amazon about a couple of weeks ago. The packaging and delivery was fast. I initially had worries about the quality of these brackets. Here are my analysis of these rackets after playing with both rackets for an week or so:pros+ genuine carbon fiber shaft+ titanium frame+ stringing well done+ well budgeted for beginners+ nice racket bag that holds two racketscons+ factory grip is hard and the rubber is slippery on Ti3004. Apply the overgrip included in the package for people with bigger hands.Overall, I think these rackets have decent quality and good for beginers to start enjoying badminton at an affordable price. They replaced my order with a 2009 Ti-3004 (because the Ti-3002 was discontinued), and Nano 9000. Whether the replaced rackets were cheaper or more expensive that I don't know of, the price is still affordable. And either way, my dad is using it today for the first time ever and he said, "Wow! It's so light and good to play with!" Then he starts feeling on the strings by pounding it against his palm and said, "Man, this is good!" So for fathers or other badminton players, it's highly recommended. My dad is a starter and it's going pretty good. The price is affordable and it's worth it! Top to learn more

Badminton Racket - good deal
Bought this for my grandson for his 13th birthday. It is not badminton-weather here yet, so can't comment on the racket's performance, but it looks great! It is very light, tightly strung, and comfortable to swing. The carrying case looks classy and will be great for toting to games. I was looking for some cheaper alternatives for Yonex badminton racquets for 2 reasons - price (of course) and genuineness (most of the items sold on eBay are fake - check forums at BadmintonCentral.com).I came across this racquet from Genji sports. This is an excellent racquet for intermediate players. Weight and balance are just about right. The shaft has flexibility so its easy on the elbow (remember we are talking of intermediate players).Service provided by Bozeman Inc is superlative. They have very fast turnaround.
