I was away when my son got this for his birthday, but the picture I saw it was packaged nice and then I saw on skype when he was driving it and it looked good, fast and durable, he is 4 and my other boy is a little older and they are always crashing their cars into each other and the wall, still holiding up...for how long is the question though but for now its going good and was worth the price.

A good all around Lamborghini Book
I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I ordered it with some others and was not expecting this one to be as good as it was.The Good = This book does a really good job of presenting a lot of information in a quick and easy to read format. The book covers history, people, the cars and even mentions the marine engine business. There is an article written by an owner who bought an old car and restored it. I was surprised how much information was there. Each chapter had articles included in it, as a way to get more information about a subject, without interupting the flow of the story. I loved the format. For the money, this is a great buy.The Bad = Some of the pictures could have been better (there are still plenty of good ones). This book never gets too in depth on any one subject. It is more of a "little of everything" style of writing. Not a lot of new information for the Lamborghini book collector.Conclusion = This is a really good overall...

Good Overall Lambo book
Received as a gift. The pictures are great, always would like more but one has to be reasonable. Great way to go through the history of the marquee. Super shots of the Miura and Countach...my favourites, but also nice shots of the recent and current models. I really enjoyed this book.

An excellent, original work and a "must have" for Miura fans
Although the title is somewhat presumptuous, this is actually an excellent book. There are a couple of things that make this book unique among Lamborghini books. First, Sackey is not only a huge Miura enthusiast and evangelist, but has also owned and restored several Miura SVs, so his writing is based not just on great research (which he's obviously done) but experience in ownership and restorations. Second, he has taken a lot of effort to find period photos that haven't been published before. Most Lamborghini books recycle many of the period photos, but this book only reuses a few. It includes a serial number listing, which is more accurate than the one in the Coltrin book, but Sackey doesn't list which cars were reissued, nor which numbers were P400s, S's, and SVs, or total production counts (although it does list counts for the SV). Perhaps this is a very difficult goal given poor factory records and cars being changed over the years. I'd like to see more descriptions of...

Fantastic Book
Excellent book on the Lamborghini Miura. Very well written, excellent photos, and the Author really knows the history of the car and the people involved in creating it. The Paper Quality and Photos make this book a keeper for life.

Splashy photos, appealing design, colorful text
Ferruccio Lamborghini's automobiles have been making teenagers and grown men alike aspire to be rap stars, moguls, and ridiculously wealthy athletes for nearly 50 years if only to own a Countach or a Reventon. Countless books have been published about the company and its cars, but this may be the best since The Complete Book of Lamborghini printed in 1988. While not nearly as thorough as that retrospective (profiles of the Jalpa, the Portofino, and other more experimental designs are missing, for example, and the Miura's and Countach's profiles are somewhat unfairly abbreviated), the layout of the book and the photographs of the supercars included make this well worth the price. Not to mention that the company's latter-day big-name productions (Murcielago, Reventon, Diablo, Gallardo) are all included.Photographically, the book covers Lamborghini's biggest creations in chronological order. Raw erudition. The poet's "night bats" definitely sing.
As with much of Herrera's poetry, the reader will experience estrangement of the first order. One may picture American society as an "exploding quazar" that requires several readings to discern. Herrera's synecdoches take time to unravel, but well worth the effort. This is Carlos Santana meeting David Lynch: the "Last Mayan rock band" performing songs that aptly depict society, the status of art, and subjectivity at the twilight of postmodernism. Good stuff.
